Sarah Gasbarra of Verdura Garden Design builds culinary gardens for chefs and restaurants in Nashville including Nicky’s Coal Fired, Bastion, and Henrietta Red. On August 4, she’ll give some hands-on green thumb advice on how to create your own cocktail garden. Attendees will explore and taste aromatic herbs and edible flowers that pair wonderfully with spirits you have on hand in your own home. She will also teach the basics of creating a culinary garden, and each guest will take away an herb start at the end of the session.
To attend this free event, you must be a member of Slow Food Middle Tennessee or a guest of a member. (To become a member, please visit our membership page.) This is a 21+ event, but non-alcoholic "mocktails" will be available. Please RSVP below.
Following the event, members are welcome to socialize over dinner.
